Agency for Police Support Awarded the Silver Gender Equality Seal

The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its constituent security agencies have become the first security sector institutions in the world to be certified under the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) flagship global initiative for gender equality, earning the Silver Gender Equality Seal.

Among the recipients of this prestigious international recognition is the Agency for Police Support. This award is the result of more than 18 months of intensive institutional effort, reforms, and activities dedicated to advancing gender equality within the security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The award ceremony was attended on behalf of the Agency for Police Support by the Deputy Director of the Agency, Mr. Miše Ćavar.

This recognition reaffirms the commitment of the Agency for Police Support to enhancing professional standards, ensuring equal opportunities, and fostering gender equality in the workplace, in full alignment with the highest international standards.
