Delegation of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia Visits the Police Support Agency

Within the framework of the EUPA4BiH Project, the Director of the Police Support Agency, Enver Hadžiahmetović, along with his associates, hosted representatives from the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, Dražen Rastović, Head of the Drug Crime Department, and Čedomir Šinjori, an expert from the Drug Department.

The guests were presented with the Agency's competences: maintaining the central database of employees in BiH police bodies, participating in the drafting and monitoring of the application of laws and other regulations related to BiH police bodies, monitoring new information and communication technologies, and conducting tender procedures for specific equipment for BiH police bodies.

Positive experiences were exchanged, and the challenges faced by state institutions regarding legal regulations related to drug abuse were highlighted.

The result of the visit is the intensification of activities on amendments to the Law on Prevention and Suppression of Abuse of Narcotic Drugs and its alignment with European standards.

We hope that the EUPA4BiH project will contribute to a better security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and grant greater authorities to the Police Support Agency.
