Based on the agreement reached between the director of the Police Support Agency, Enver Hadžiahmetović, and the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, PhD Almir Badnjević, at a meeting held in Banja Luka on August 23, 2023, the project of using the SDH network was implemented in the Police Support Agency.
It is a special telecommunications network, which enables the police bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina to use the databases owned by the Police Support Agency in a fast, efficient, and secure manner, which ultimately facilitates the work of police officers and other database users in the field.
By using the SDH network, the Police Support Agency will be able to safely and efficiently cede a number of applications and databases that it has personally developed for the needs of police bodies, as well as other security bodies in BiH, among which the most important are the "Central Data Record of Employees in Police Bodies of BiH". "Record of data on uniforms, weapons and related equipment" and "Record of data on official vehicles of BiH police bodies".
We especially want to highlight the understanding and responsiveness of the management of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which provided the Police Support Agency with access to the SDH network without additional investments and the need to provide financial resources.
